We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing Accounting & Finance team. This role will support technical accounting research, financial reporting, key areas of the monthly close process, annual audit support, acquisition-related activities, and continuous process improvement initiatives. The position plays an important role in maintaining the integrity of the Company's financial reporting and control environment while supporting a rapidly growing organization.
The ideal candidate combines a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP with a practical, detail-oriented approach and a desire to expand beyond traditional close responsibilities. This role offers exposure to technical accounting, financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, internal controls, ERP initiatives, and finance transformation projects, providing a clear path for growth into future accounting leadership opportunities.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Accounting & Strategic Projects
- Assist with technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting standards.
- Support accounting analyses for complex non-routine transactions, including acquisition accounting, strategic partnerships (joint ventures), lease accounting, debt modifications, intercompany legal entity transactions, and other U.S. GAAP matters.
- Prepare subsidiary, lender, contractual, and other ad hoc financial reporting packages as needed.
- Partner with accounting leadership in ERP, reporting, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
- Cross-functionally collaborate with Finance, Operations, Legal, Payroll, Revenue Cycle, and other business teams to support key initiatives and improve end-to-end financial processes.
Financial Close & Reporting
- Own assigned aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
- Prepare and review complex account analyses and maintain complete, audit-ready supporting schedules.
- Support annual financial statement preparation, footnote disclosures, and audit documentation.
- Research, resolve, and document reconciling items and accounting discrepancies.
- Support and develop a scalable COSO-aligned internal control environment through documentation, monitoring, and process improvement that strengthen financial reporting quality.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- 3+ years of progressive corporate accounting or public accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- CPA or CPA candidate.
- Big 4 / regional firm background is a major plus
- Experience with Workday, Adaptive Planning, or similar ERP and reporting systems.
- Exposure to mergers/acquisitions and joint ventures/equity accounting.

Compensation Range: $95,000 - $120,000 per year.
- This position is also eligible for a bonus.
