We are seeking a friendly, organized, and service-oriented Part-Time Receptionist & Office Administrator to support the daily operations of our league headquarters in White Plains, NY.
This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, partners, and vendors while ensuring the office operates efficiently and professionally.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys creating a welcoming and productive workplace environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DOReception & Customer Service
Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, guests, vendors, and delivery personnel.
Greet and assist visitors in a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner.
Manage incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries, directing communications to appropriate departments.
Coordinate visitor access, meeting room scheduling, and guest hospitality.
Maintain a professional reception area and ensure conference rooms are prepared for meetings.
Office Administration & Operations
Provide administrative support to league leadership and staff as needed.
Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services.
Maintain office supply inventory and place orders as needed.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient office environment.
Coordinate office events, employee meetings, team lunches, and workplace celebrations.
Assist with onboarding logistics for new employees, including workspace setup and office orientation.
WHAT YOU WILL BRINGThe qualifications listed below represent the credentials necessary to perform the essential functions of this position. High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
2+ years of administrative, receptionist, customer service, or office support experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
Professional demeanor with exceptional customer service skills.
Experience in professional sports, entertainment, hospitality, or corporate office environments.

ADDITIONAL DETAILSProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required.

COMPENSATIONThis part-time position offers a rate of $20.00–$25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications. Expected schedule is approximately 20–29 hours per week, with flexibility based on organizational needs.
