Director, Acquisitions OpportunityReporting to the Head of Sales, this is a unique opportunity to join a niche industry as a Director, Acquisitions, acquiring active telecom assets from owners, as part of a digital infrastructure investment platform. The position will be a critical member of a tight‑knit team to build a robust pipeline of asset acquisitions opportunities including rooftops, ground leases, and other telecom verticals.
This position will be responsible for leading and managing a team of remote and headquarters’ based acquisition managers, focusing on generating leads, building relationships with asset owners, and developing a substantial book of signed term sheets ("TS") and closed deals.
- Support the assigned acquisitions team members to this role to develop an individual customer pipeline including building owners, individual landowners, municipalities, universities, property managers, commercial brokers, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations, assuring that high‑value wireless infrastructure assets are acquired by Symphony Towers Infrastructure in line with the company’s investment thesis.
- Ensure the assigned team maintains a high volume of active outreach to individual Site Owners in partnership with marketing and other in‑house resources. Maintain a consistent and qualified pipeline of opportunities.
- Make sure the assigned team builds and maintains trust with Site Owners through networking, calling, onsite meetings, and fostering growing relationships.
- Work with cross‑functional internal teams to determine current market value of new telecom acquisitions through the company’s valuation process. Assist internal teams in presenting deals for approval and provide go‑forward strategies based on associated risks.
- Liaise with lawyers, tenants, clients, and vendors to assemble and review necessary deal documents.
- Work hand in hand with underwriting and in‑house legal teams to bring executed TS to a timely and efficient close.
- Work closely with the head of sales and the other directors of Acquisitions on all aspects of the sales cycle and opportunity development through the marketing campaigns.
- Maintain quotas, logs, and other sales activity using company CRM to achieve personal and team goals. Keep all contacts, opportunities, and activities fully updated at all times in the CRM database.
- Support the assigned team with formulating the appropriate sales strategy per opportunity and seller negotiations via attending conference calls, in person meetings with sellers, etc.
- Ensure the assigned team spends adequate time in the field meeting with potential targets and property owners to build pipeline, and establish relationships. Support such field visits in person as needed and frequently.
- Visit the remote acquisition managers on a quarterly basis in their regions to conduct reviews of their activities and support them with important in‑person meetings.
- Manage CRM updates by the team, reports, and KPIs as outlined by the organization.
- Responsible for forecasting for the assigned team and forecasting accuracy to ensure the organization meets its sales and revenue objectives.
- BS/BA in a related field or equivalent experience in a sales/related organization.
- At least 8 years of experience in telecoms and commercial real estate, digital infrastructure, or financial services required.
- Inside/outside sales or telecom asset acquisition experience required.
- Experience working proficiently with Salesforce.
- Superior written and oral communication skills with the ability to collaborate, seek constructive feedback, build relationships, promote teamwork, and remain flexible and adaptable to change.

- Open to travel as frequently as needed to meet with prospects, clients, and identify new opportunities.
