Overview
The Construction Manager oversees the daily operations of our multi-family residential construction projects, both new builds and renovations. This role involves managing projects from the ground up and/or rehabs, working closely with our internal teams and external partners to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Responsibilities- Develop and manage project plans, including budgeting and scheduling.
- Assist in the selection of contractors and vendors and participate in pre-bid meetings.
- Help draft and review contract documents, including adjustments to design and scope.
- Track project progress, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners, addressing issues and resolving conflicts as they arise.
- Attend site meetings, create progress reports, and monitor project changes.
- Supervise construction team members, providing guidance and support.
- Represent the company at local meetings as needed and assist in preparing proposal responses.
- Suggest improvements to current construction practices and procedures.
