Regulatory Compliance Specialist
A well-established NYC general contracting firm is seeking an experienced Site Safety Manager / Coordinator for a permanent, full-time position. The role will oversee site safety, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a strong safety culture across construction operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily site safety activities and enforce company/project safety policies.
- Conduct safety orientations and daily site inspections.
- Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; maintain required documentation.
- Communicate safety risks and requirements to project teams, subcontractors, and workers.
- Maintain accurate safety records and ensure compliance with NYC DOB, OSHA, and applicable regulations.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of project safety programs.
- Current NYC Site Safety Manager License required.
- Minimum 3 years of Site Safety experience.
- 30-Hour OSHA certification required.
- 62-Hour SST Card required.
- Construction safety experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Pay Range: $135,000–$200,000 annually Commensurate with experience.
