Customer Service Rep, Bilingual, Call Center / Support
Location: City of White Plains
Key Responsibilities
- Handle 100–150 inbound calls per day from customers and clients.
- Provide high‑quality service while following defined scripts and call flows.
- Assist callers with questions related to pension plans, healthcare plans, disability benefits, and other financial information.
- Accurately document customer interactions and update internal databases in real time.
- Direct incoming calls through a high‑volume switchboard environment.
- Perform clerical and multitasking duties as assigned by management.
- Maintain professionalism, enthusiasm, and customer‑first communication at all times.
- 1–3 years of healthcare call center experience.
- Experience handling high call volumes.
- Ability to work the required schedule:
- Training: 8:00–4:30 or 9:00–5:30
- Post‑training:
Must be able to work 11:00–8:00, including occasional Saturdays. - Call center operates 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, Monday–Saturday.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong data entry and multitasking skills.
- Bilingual (any language).
- Experience in:
- Healthcare customer service
- Medical call centers
- Customer support environments
- On‑site call center with 25–30 Customer Service Representatives across Pension, Healthcare, and PFA teams, plus 5 Appeals CSRs.
- Union environment with strong employee support and long‑term retention.
- Management is results‑driven but maintains a laid‑back, family‑like culture.
- Leadership includes four managers and a Call Center Director (Rey Lago).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White Plains, NY.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
