About the Role

Facial and Oral Surgery Specialists is seeking a motivated and compassionate Surgical Assistant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside highly skilled oral surgeons in a fast-paced, patient-centered surgical practice.

As a Surgical Assistant, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care, supporting surgical procedures, and helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their treatment journey. We are looking for a team player who is organized, eager to learn, and passionate about providing an outstanding patient experience. Whether you are an experienced surgical assistant or an ambitious dental assistant looking to expand your skills, we provide the training, mentorship, and support needed to succeed in oral surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for surgical procedures and review pre- and post-operative expectations
  • Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families
  • Prepare and maintain surgical suites, instruments, and equipment
  • Assist surgeons during a variety of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures
  • Monitor and maintain surgical inventory and supplies

    Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
  • Collaborate with providers and team members to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Support efficient patient flow and daily clinical operations
Qualifications
  • Previous oral surgery, dental, surgical, or healthcare experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
