Project Manager – Electrical Contracting

Location: Westchester County, NY (projects across NYC & surrounding areas)

An established and highly respected electrical contracting firm based in the New York metro area is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial, institutional, and infrastructure electrical projects.

This contractor is known for delivering high-quality electrical installations with minimal disruption to live environments, supported by strong in-house engineering capability and long-term client relationships.

• Manage electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, inspectors, vendors, and field teams
• Oversee scheduling, budgeting, cost control, change orders, and forecasting
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure scope alignment
• Lead project meetings and provide clear communication to stakeholders
• Ensure work is executed safely, on time, and to a high standard of quality
• Support commissioning and handover processes

• Underground and overhead service installations
• High-voltage utility service work
• Transformers, switch gear, and panels
• Emergency generators and UPS systems
• Lighting and lighting control systems
• Security, fire alarm, CCTV, PA, and communication systems
• EV charging infrastructure
• Design-assist and engineer-supported installations

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within electrical contracting
• Strong understanding of commercial and/or infrastructure electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
