This is a full-time role for an Estimator based in White Plains, NY. The Estimator is responsible for collaboratively preparing cost estimates for solar and energy storage projects. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating project drawings and specifications, analyzing costs and materials, consulting with subcontractors and suppliers, preparing budgets, and supporting project management teams during bid and negotiation processes. The Estimator plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and competitive project proposals to drive project success.

• Strong skills in cost estimation, project scheduling, and budgeting within the solar and energy storage sector
• Experience in plan reading and understanding specifications, and preparing construction takeoffs
• Proficiency in the use of estimation software, Excel, or related tools for data analysis and reporting
• Ability to collaborate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication, with excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge of the renewable energy industry, construction methodologies, and regulatory requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in cost estimation or similar roles within the construction or renewable energy industry is an advantage
