** Water/Wastewater Engineering Specialist
** to join our Water/Wastewater division
** in either NYC or White Plains, NY locations.

* Responsibilities include:

*** Perform engineering duties in planning and designing of water and wastewater treatment, conveyance, and storage systems.
* Development of contract documents including plans and specifications.
* Perform hydraulic flow and pressure calculations.
* Develop system curves for sizing and selection of pumps.
* Water and Wastewater treatment process systems and equipment engineering and design support.
* Support the development of construction cost estimates.
* Interest and willingness to learn project management, client interface and business development of future projects.
* Perform site visits during design to understand and document existing conditions, and inspect installation during construction..
* Review contractor shop drawings and submittals for compliance with project design documents.

* Skills and Experience:

*** Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited University or NCEES equivalent.
* Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering is a plus.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in water and wastewater systems.
* EIT Certification, required.
* Ability to work and communicate well with  others.
* Possesses strong organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to seek technical input from water team members work collaboratively to advance projects.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS is a plus.

Participation in professional organizations, as well as committee involvement is a plus Compensation Range:$86,464.77 - $98,816.88
