Location: City of White Plains

ITG Larson is a leading security integration company based in White Plains, NY, specializing in electronic security systems, access control, video surveillance, and integrated technology solutions. We design, install, and support systems that protect people, property, and information for clients across multiple industries.

As part of W&M Fire & Security and the larger Davis‑Ulmer Family of Companies, we believe that by investing in and empowering our employees as leaders, we build an organization that delivers innovative solutions and an exceptional customer experience. The unique blend of our people, culture, and ownership of results creates what we call the Davis‑Ulmer Difference.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Operations Leader to join our team in White Plains, NY.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Contract Operations Leader to take ownership of our Installation Division, overseeing the business from pre‑sale through project execution and final closeout, while aligning Engineering and Prefabrication into a cohesive, high‑performing operation.

This role is responsible for driving disciplined execution across the full project lifecycle—ensuring that what is sold is aligned with how we build, and that projects are delivered safely and with technical excellence.

The ideal candidate is a process‑driven operator with deep technical experience who is comfortable being in the weeds—supporting teams directly, solving problems in real time, and ensuring projects move forward without disruption.

This role will also serve as a shared technical resource across the business, supporting the Service team on complex issues without direct oversight of Service operations.

Responsibilities Pre‑Sale Through Execution Ownership
  • Oversee the Install Sales team, ensuring opportunities are scoped, estimated, and positioned for successful execution.
  • Ensure alignment between what is sold, how it is designed, and how it will be installed.
  • Partner with Sales and Engineering during pre‑construction to confirm scope clarity, system design alignment, and labor/material expectations.
  • Drive a smooth transition from sale → engineering → project execution.
Operational Execution & Project Lifecycle Ownership
  • Own the end‑to‑end execution of all installation projects—from pre‑construction through final closeout.
  • Maintain a strong focus on the final 10% of projects, including punch lists, documentation, turnover, and billing completion.
  • Establish and reinforce consistent operational processes that drive predictable results.
Project Management Leadership & Accountability
  • Lead and mentor Project Managers through structured weekly project reviews.
  • Implement regular financial reviews with accounting to ensure projects are performing to company standards.
  • Drive accountability across the PM team.
Proactive Planning & Forecasting
  • Lead forward‑looking planning (3–6 months out).
  • Identify upcoming labor, material, and scheduling needs.
  • Ensure the business is prepared ahead of demand.
Technical Leadership & Problem Solving
  • Serve as a technical resource and escalation point.
  • Support troubleshooting of complex system challenges.
  • Partner with Engineering to ensure designs are executable.
  • Align Engineering and Prefabrication with installation needs.
  • Improve workflows and reduce rework.
Daily & Weekly Operational Cadence
  • Lead daily coordination and weekly reviews.
  • Ensure alignment across Sales, Engineering, PMs, and Field Teams.
Team Development & Culture
  • Lead training and development initiatives.
  • Mentor team members and build accountability.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years in low‑voltage, security, or electrical systems.
  • Experience leading pre‑sale and execution.
  • Strong understanding of full project lifecycle.
  • Proven process and operational leadership.
  • Hands‑on technical troubleshooting ability.
What We’re Looking For
  • Accountability and team development.
  • Comfortable being in the weeds.

Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.
