A multi-discipline consulting firm is seeking a Mechanical Department Manager for their growing team in White Plains, New York! Responsibilities include managing the Mechanical Engineering department, overseeing staff workload, coordinating Mechanical/HVAC projects with MEP teams and other disciplines to ensure timely completion, reviewing/approving scopes, budgets and schedules, assessing project/financial performance, preparing construction drawings/specifications, building/maintaining client relationships, providing technical leadership, production/scheduling, quality control and cost proposals, assisting with business development, facilitating/attending construction administration meetings, and reviewing contractor submittals and providing feedback.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, 18+ years of overall MEP experience with a strong focus on HVAC projects, 8+ years of project management experience, prior experience working with local municipalities/government agencies, and experience managing Mechanical/HVAC staff at various levels. Salary is commensurate with experience. Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
