Project Control Specialist

DACK Consulting Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Controls Scheduler to support major engineering and construction projects. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong Primavera P6 experience and a background in construction management, scheduling, and project controls.

• sDevelop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
• .Review baseline schedules and periodic schedule updates for accuracy, logic, completeness, and contractual compliance
• .Perform critical path, schedule variance, and schedule risk analyses
• .Monitor project progress, milestones, resource utilization, and engineering updates
• .Identify schedule delays, potential risks, and emerging project issues
• .Analyze cost and schedule variances and recommend corrective actions when needed
• .Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc schedule performance reports
• .Maintain resource-loaded schedules, coding structures, calendars, and work breakdown structures
• .Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, consultants, and project controls personnel to obtain accurate schedule information
• .Review contractor schedules, narratives, recovery plans, and time-impact analyses
• .Document project controls procedures, scheduling methodologies, and project execution plans
• .Assist in developing scheduling standards, procedures, templates, and guidelines
• .Provide technical scheduling guidance to project controls staff and project teams
• .Support the implementation, administration, and training of Primavera P6 and related reporting tools
• .Attend project meetings and present schedule status, risks, variances, and recommendations to stakeholders

• ns Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related fiel
• d.At least seven years of professional experience in construction management, project controls, and schedulin
• g.Advanced proficiency with Primavera P
• 6.Experience with Microsoft Project is a plu
• s.Demonstrated experience conducting baseline schedule reviews and schedule update review
• s.Candidates must be prepared to discuss at least two projects that demonstrate their baseline and schedule update review experienc
• e.Strong knowledge of critical path methodology, schedule risk analysis, resource loading, and cost and schedule variance analysi
• s.Experience supporting major engineering, infrastructure, or commercial construction project
• s.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Offic
• e.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skill
