Financial Manager, Financial Analyst

Our client is seeking an Associate Finance Manager to support Sales Finance and Net Revenue Management—playing a key role in driving profitable growth and operational excellence across the business.
About the RoleIn this highly visible position, you will act as the primary finance partner to the Sales organization, providing critical insights, governance, and strategic recommendations. You’ll help shape how trade investment, pricing, and customer programs are managed—ensuring decisions are grounded in data and aligned to overall financial objectives.
What You’ll DoBusiness Partnering
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior sales leaders and field teams.
- Act as liaison between Sales Finance and Accounting/Controllership.
- Provide support for audits related to customer and sales finance data.
Customer Finance & Net Revenue Management
- Oversee trade spend performance: forecasting, accruals, monthly reporting, and variance analysis.
- Lead financial governance of trade and display budgets; run monthly reviews with sales teams to assess promo plans, ROI, risks, and sell‑out trends.
- Build and maintain a deep understanding of promotional effectiveness and key success drivers.
- Monitor on‑shelf pricing and promotional activities to ensure alignment with pricing guidelines.
- Analyze trade terms and execution to identify margin or G2N improvement opportunities.
- Maintain forward‑looking visibility into pricing, revenue strategies, and competitive benchmarking.
- Track category growth using pricing vs. volume insights across the competitive landscape.
- Manage a live pipeline of sales risks and opportunities tied to ROI.
- Challenge sales forecasts using data, trends, and commercial insight.
- Track customer performance vs. annual plans and prior year results; drive alignment to targets.
- Collaborate with the broader finance team to optimize and implement new processes.
- 4+ years’ experience in CPG or Food/Snacking industries
. - Background in Sales Finance
, Trade Finance, Customer Finance, or related commercial-facing roles. - BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
. - Advanced analytical skills and experience using technology and data visualization to influence decisions.
- High proficiency in Excel
, Power Point , and ERP/analytics tools (SAP, D365, Blue Planner, etc.). - Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration capabilities.
- “Builder” mindset—able to establish structure, processes, and consistent ways of working.
- Detail‑orientation, accountability, and a sense of urgency.
- Ability to translate financial insights for non-finance partners.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and comfort navigating changing priorities.
