Excellent opportunity with growing Construction company
Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced accounting professional with at least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally with a General Contractor or Subcontractor. Real estate development experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all accounting functions, including payroll, A/R, A/P, and financial reports.
- Proficient in SAGE, Quick Books, and relevant software for reporting and analysis.
- Maintain banking accounts, monitor cash balances, and prepare monthly reports.
- Oversee monthly and year-end closings, cost reporting, and bank reconciliations.
- Handle accounts payable, subcontractor payments, insurance premiums, and tax filings.
- Manage employee personnel files, 401(k) records, and assist with benefits inquiries.
- Coordinate company audits, budget preparation, and fiscal year-end closeouts.
- Represent the company with external partners, such as banks and insurance brokers.
- Minimum of 5 years in a relevant accounting role.
- Experience with a General Contractor or Subcontractor is required.
