Finance Manager

Our client is seeking a Finance Manager (FP&A) to join their New York team in a hybrid capacity. This role will focus on driving financial planning and analysis activities, with a strong emphasis on sales finance and branch finance performance. The position will partner closely with business leaders to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making, delivering insights that enhance operational efficiency, revenue visibility, and overall financial performance.

• Drive the commercial agenda by building a 1–3 year sales finance roadmap that strengthens profitability, cash generation, and long‑term strategic growth.
• Lead best‑in‑class sales forecasting, performance management, and scenario planning, empowering commercial leaders with accurate, actionable insights.
• Own SKU, customer, and channel profitability analytics, surfacing the trends, risks, and opportunities that shape pricing, mix, trade strategy, and customer negotiations.
• Elevate sales investment decisions by implementing disciplined trade spend governance and delivering clear ROI‑focused recommendations that increase margin and efficiency.
• Partner directly with senior Sales & Marketing leaders as a trusted financial advisor, translating complex data into clear strategies that accelerate commercial performance.

• 5+ years of progressive experience
• B.A./B.S. in Finance or Accounting is required; MBA or CPA is a plus.
• Direct experience in Sales Finance;
  Brand Finance also a plus in CPG or Food Industry
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, D365, SAP
