We are representing a growth-oriented, product-led organization seeking a Controller to join its finance leadership team. This role is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and financial compliance. The Controller will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure strong financial governance, accurate reporting, and operational financial discipline to support the company’s continued growth.

• Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
• Coordinate and manage external audits and tax preparation processes
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance metrics
• Support leadership with financial reporting, analysis, and insights to guide business decisions
• Partner with operational leaders to improve financial processes, cost management, and reporting
• Oversee financial systems, ERP platforms, and reporting tools
• Recruit, mentor, and develop accounting staff and finance team members

• Serve as a key finance partner to leadership across departments
• Translate financial results into clear and actionable insights
• Promote financial discipline, transparency, and accountability across the organization
• Identify opportunities for operational improvement and financial efficiency
• Support strategic initiatives with accurate financial analysis and reporting

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• CPA strongly preferred
• 7 or more years of progressive accounting and finance experience including leadership responsibility
• Strong expertise in accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Experience working in growth oriented or product led environments preferred
• Proven ability to lead accounting teams and manage complex financial processes
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
