Corporate M&A and Private Equity Associate

Overview

• Role:
  Associate within the Corporate Department, focusing on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Private Equity.
• Location:
  
  New York, NY.
• Experience:
  
  Seeking candidates in the 3rd to 6th year associate class, with a minimum of two years of direct experience in M&A and/or private equity matters.
• M&A Practice:
  Advise on a broad range of M&A transactions, from routine to complex and transformational, including matters related to shareholder activism, antitrust, regulatory challenges, board counseling, capital markets, ESG, executive compensation, leveraged finance, and tax.
• Private Equity Practice:
  Counsel leading private equity firms on the full spectrum of transactions from initial investment through exit strategies.
• Private Equity Deal Volume & Scope:
  Handle a high volume of private equity transactions, exceeding 500 deals and over half a trillion US dollars annually, covering areas like fund formation, private equity finance, M&A, and capital markets.
• Complex PE Transactions:
  Work on sophisticated cross-border carve-outs, tax-free spinoffs, and multi-billion-dollar going-private transactions.
• Compensation:
  Associate base salaries range from $225,000 (Class of 2026) to $435,000 (Class of 2018), plus discretionary bonuses.
