- Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting, including budget-to-actual variance analysis
- Build and maintain dashboards providing leadership with real-time visibility into financial performance
- Build and maintain financial models and forecasts for planning and decision-making
- Lead expense optimization analysis by tracking spend, flagging variances, and identifying cost-discipline opportunities
- Prepare reporting and analysis materials for the Controller and CEO, including board-level materials as needed
- Use AI tools to accelerate reporting, forecasting, and analysis
- Identify opportunities for finance-process automation
- Connect financial performance to operational activity across the business
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects
- Report to the Controller
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience building dashboards or reporting automation
- Prior experience using AI tools for analysis, reporting, or workflow automation
- Ability to prompt and iterate with AI tools for reports, models, and analysis
- Sharp critical thinking and systems thinking mindset
- Clear, direct communication and ability to present analysis to executives
- 2-3 years of financial analysis or FP&A experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
- Prior experience in a high-growth or startup environment
- Experience with expense management or cost optimization initiatives
Demonstrates expertise in financial reporting, modeling, and analysis, with a strong focus on leveraging AI tools for automation and optimization. Proven ability to communicate insights effectively to executives and connect financial performance with operational activities.
