Join the derivatives operations function of a leading global financial institution supporting complex financial products and post-trade activity. This team plays a critical role in maintaining accurate transaction processing, controlling operational risk, and ensuring trades move successfully through confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation. The environment is collaborative and deadline-driven, with frequent interaction across Front Office, Middle Office, operations teams, brokers, custodians, and counter parties.

- Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)
- Hybrid opportunity based in White Plains, New York.
- Gain exposure to derivatives and multiple financial products while working across the full post-trade lifecycle.
- Work closely with trading, middle-office, and external counter parties in a role that provides broad operational visibility.
- Manage trade processing and settlement activity across derivatives and other financial products from execution through completion.
- Review trade confirmations, allocations, and settlement status while identifying and resolving exceptions.
- Investigate reconciliation breaks involving brokers, custodians, counter parties, and internal records.
- Partner with Front Office and Middle Office teams to resolve failed settlements and operational issues.
- Maintain accurate transaction documentation and support audit, compliance, and control-related requests.
- Identify recurring operational issues and contribute to process, system, and control improvements.
- Help ensure transactions are completed accurately, within required deadlines, and in accordance with established operational standards.
- Bring approximately 3-5 years of relevant experience in trade operations, settlements, middle office, or a comparable financial-markets environment.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, including confirmations, allocations, settlements, reconciliations, and exception management.
- Bring experience supporting derivatives, securities, or other financial instruments.
- Familiarity with DTCC, Bloomberg, SWIFT, or comparable financial-market platforms is strongly valued.
- Demonstrate strong Excel skills and confidence navigating multiple financial systems.
- Bring excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage time-sensitive operational activity.
- Show strong analytical and problem-solving skills when investigating trade breaks and failed settlements.
- Communicate effectively with trading teams, internal stakeholders, brokers, custodians, and counter parties.
- Be comfortable learning and supporting multiple asset classes in a fast-paced financial-services environment.
