Work Comp Centralized Scheduling Representatives are energetic individuals with excellent customer service skills. Their responsibility is to respond to incoming calls from referral sources and patients, gather registration information and schedule appointments. Additionally, they answer questions and inquiries, provide information about our services, and handle positive and negative feedback. Representatives report to the Centralized Scheduling Manager. This position falls under the Workers' Compensation Department and is dedicated to supporting functions related to work‑related injury claims, compliance, and case management.
YourResponsibilities Will Include
- Answering phone calls from prospective, current, and past patients professionally and responding to their inquiries.
- Researching required information using available resources.
- Identifying, escalating priority issues and reporting to the high‑level management.
- Routing inbound calls to the appropriate clinics/personnel.
- Following up complicated customer calls, when required.
- Completing call notes and call reports as necessary.
- Obtaining and evaluating all relevant data.
- Managing administration, communicating, and coordinating with internal departments.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year+ of experience with Workers Compensation insurance in a healthcare environment required; experience with outpatient therapy preferred.
- 3‑5 years administrative/office experience.
- Open availability, Monday through Friday – 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Raintree EMR.
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Technical expert in related computer applications.
- Able to react effectively and calmly in emergencies.
- Able to maintain customer confidentiality.
- Self‑motivated and ability to display initiative.
- Maintain proper and professional telephone voice and utilize proper telephone etiquette.

Compensation ranges up to an hourly rate of $23.00 based on experience.
