If you are a Workday-savvy professional who combines a friendly, "people-first" approach with a hawk-eye for operational efficiency, we want to hear from you!
The Impact You’ll Make
The Onboarding Journey
- Own the Lifecycle: Manage the full employee onboarding process, from pre-hire communication to hosting the LIVE Day 1 Orientation.
- Be the Face of the Company: Act as the first point of contact for new hires, troubleshooting questions regarding benefits, payroll, and IT setup.
- Compliance Champion: Oversee background checks, drug screenings, and I-9 compliance, ensuring all tasks are completed with 100% accuracy by Day 3.
- Data Integrity: Accurately manage data entry in Workday, ensuring employee profiles are complete and up to date.
- Continuous Improvement: Partner with our "NERD" team to suggest process enhancements that make our onboarding even better.
HR Operations & System Support
- Service Excellence: Provide first-line support via our ticketing system, resolving HR inquiries promptly to ensure high satisfaction.
- Life-Cycle Management: Process all employment changes, including promotions, transfers, and offboarding, while maintaining precise digital employee files.
- Reporting & Audits: Generate ad-hoc HRIS reports and manage unemployment claims within a 3-day turnaround.
- Regional Partnership: Assist with company-wide projects like performance reviews and engagement surveys, keeping your assigned region on track and informed.
What You Bring to the Table
- Experience: 2+ years in an HR or Employee Onboarding role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR (or related field) OR 4 years of equivalent professional experience.
- Tech Skills: Workday experience is highly preferred. (Strong experience in other major HRIS/ATS/Payroll systems will be considered).
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with benefits programs (Health/401k) and state/local/federal labor laws.
- Soft Skills: You are energetic, motivated, and a passionate self-starter. You handle sensitive information with total discretion and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability: You are an innovative problem-solver who can stay nimble when challenges arise during the employee lifecycle.
