Senior Information Technology Manager

Seeking an experienced IT infrastructure leader to oversee and guide a complex enterprise technology environment within a growing organization. This role is focused on leadership, operational oversight, team development, and infrastructure strategy across a Microsoft-centric environment supporting retail operations.

This is a hands-off leadership role responsible for managing and mentoring a team of approximately 10 Systems Administrators and Infrastructure Engineers. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience overseeing enterprise infrastructure environments while driving operational stability, prioritization, and long-term technology initiatives.

This individual will partner closely with leadership to ensure infrastructure performance, security, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 10 Systems Administrators and Infrastructure Engineers
• Oversee day-to-day infrastructure operations across virtualization, cloud, networking, and end-user computing environments
• Manage and support Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization environments and Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure
• Oversee VPN, VDI, Terminal Services, and thin client environments to ensure reliable and secure connectivity across retail operations
• Establish team priorities, allocate resources, and manage ongoing infrastructure initiatives and operational support
• Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of enterprise systems and infrastructure
• Develop and enforce IT operational standards, policies, security procedures, and best practices
• Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to support infrastructure improvements and technology initiatives
• Monitor infrastructure performance, identify operational risks, and drive resolution of critical issues
• Support disaster recovery planning, business continuity initiatives, and overall infrastructure resilience

• Proven experience leading and managing Infrastructure, Systems Administration, or IT Operations teams
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Hyper-V and Microsoft Azure environments
• Experience overseeing VPN, VDI, Terminal Services, and enterprise infrastructure environments
• Experience supporting large-scale or multi-site operational environments
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and mentorship skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Experience supporting retail operations or distributed retail environments
• Familiarity with thin client technologies and virtual desktop infrastructure
• Background in enterprise infrastructure operations and IT service delivery
• Experience operating in a highly available, customer-facing environment
