Field Service Dispatch Technician - White Plains, NY

About the Job

As the Field Services Dispatcher Technician (Part‑Time 0‑20 hours), you will provide and maintain continuity of service for all components of the airport passenger processing system and resolve technical issues, including complex issues requiring specialist knowledge.

• Carry out regular routine and preventative maintenance on passenger processing equipment within the airport.
• Respond to all customer incidents and service requests passed across by the Global Service Desk and resolve any user faults within agreed SLAs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve all airline host and connectivity issues.
• Maintain high‑level communication at all times with colleagues and senior staff, providing timely updates to the Global Service Desk so progress against each incident can be tracked.
• Offer on‑site training and coaching to Airport Technicians to improve their understanding and incident resolution skills.
• Identify required spares and advise the Global Service Desk to enable timely incident resolution.
• Conduct regular floor‑walking and proactive line‑of‑sight checks to identify and resolve issues before they are reported as incidents.

• 1‑2 years of experience supporting Microsoft Desktop software onsite or remotely.
• 1‑2 years of experience using a ticketing system.
• 1‑2 years of experience with network protocols, server hardware, and configurations.
• Previous airport technical support experience preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Able to lift or push 20‑50 pounds of equipment as needed.
• Able to stand or kneel for extended periods.
• Able to use mechanical tools.
