Our client is seeking a dedicated SharePoint Administrator to join their dynamic team. As a SharePoint Administrator, you will be an integral part of the IT department supporting digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: SharePoint Administrator
Location: White Plains, NY - Hybrid
What's the Job?- Design, administer, and support SharePoint On‑Premises and SharePoint Online environments, including site collections, permissions, and configurations
- Lead and execute migration strategies from SharePoint On‑Premises to SharePoint Online, utilizing supported tools and best practices
- Develop and enhance SharePoint solutions using modern frameworks such as SPFx, Power Shell, and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Implement governance, information architecture, and lifecycle management to ensure platform security and compliance
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure a scalable, secure, and user‑friendly platform, while decommissioning legacy solutions
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with SharePoint On‑Premises and SharePoint Online administration and development
- Proven experience managing enterprise migrations from SharePoint On‑Premises to SharePoint Online
- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, service applications, and authentication models
- Proficiency in Power Shell scripting for administration and migration tasks
- Experience working with Microsoft 365 services such as Azure AD, Teams, and One Drive
