IT Workday Payroll HRIS Analyst - Global
Location:
White Plains, NY — Hybrid
Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 + Bonus
Must have the following:
- 5+ years of related experience supporting international/global payroll systems
- 3+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience
- Experience supporting Workday APIs and integrations and/or comparable HCM integrations
- Strong knowledge of international payroll, payroll tax laws, and local statutory requirements
- Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, enhancing, testing, and troubleshooting multi-country payroll technology
- Experience supporting internal and external payroll/HCM integrations across international locations
- Strong analytical, technical troubleshooting, project management, and data-audit capabilities
- Ability to partner effectively across Payroll, HR, Benefits, Compensation, technology teams, and external vendors
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate system and payroll issues for both technical and business stakeholders
Responsibilities:
- Implement, configure, enhance, and maintain global payroll technology supporting accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing across multiple countries.
- Lead and support multi-country payroll system implementations, enhancements, testing, and deployments while ensuring alignment with local statutory requirements.
- Troubleshoot payroll system, configuration, integration, and production issues that could impact payroll accuracy or timely wage payments.
- Design, test, and deploy payroll system functionality, calculated fields, reports, procedures, and system standards, with particular focus on international operations.
- Analyze Workday HCM functionality and recommend practical solutions using system best practices.
- Support the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of internal and external integrations for international payroll operations.
- Provide functional expertise to technical teams during systems development, issue resolution, upgrades, and process improvements.
- Partner with Payroll, Human Resources, Benefits, Compensation, technology teams, and vendors to improve payroll processes and system efficiency.
- Maintain global payroll configurations and monitor data quality to ensure information is accurate and updated on time.
- Perform payroll data and process audits to identify discrepancies and support compliance with country-specific statutory requirements.
- Identify risks and system issues, develop contingency plans, escalate concerns appropriately, and help maintain project schedules.
- Evaluate payroll processes and recommend system enhancements, automation, and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain payroll procedures and documentation supporting global operations.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
Requirements/
Required:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience supporting payroll systems internationally.
- Minimum 3 years of Workday HCM experience.
- Experience with APIs, integrations, and Workday HCM and/or similar HCM platforms.
- Knowledge of international payroll practices, payroll tax requirements, and local statutory regulations.
- Experience troubleshooting payroll technology and production issues.
- Strong experience with payroll systems analysis, configuration, testing, implementation, and enhancement.
- Demonstrated project management skills supporting cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, planning, and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to payroll data accuracy.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across functional and technical teams.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information and exercise sound judgment and discretion.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly learn additional systems.
- Flexibility to adjust work hours when needed to support global payroll operations and business requirements.
