AKKODIS is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer for a full time job with a client located in White Plains NY 10601(Hybrid) . Ideally looking for applicants who have proven experience in core networking concepts, including WAN, BGP, routing, VPNs, DNS and AWS networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53 and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Salary : $125,000 to $130,000/Annually +Benefits
Key Responsibilities- Design and engineer AWS network architectures supporting global operations, including VPC design, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, and load balancing.
- Engineer hybrid connectivity between AWS and corporate locations, including VPN, SD-WAN, and Direct Connect integration.
- Design and support multi-region disaster recovery networking strategies for high availability and resiliency.
- Evaluate emerging networking technologies and recommend improvements to architecture, performance, and cost.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, including 3+ years designing and supporting AWS cloud network architectures.
- Proven expertise in AWS networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, load balancing) delivering highly available, secure, and scalable solutions.
- Strong command of core networking concepts, including WAN, BGP, routing, VPNs, DNS, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Git-based CI/CD for network automation.
