Procurement Buyer

Job Location:
White Plains, NY

Procurement Buyer to support commercial procurement for business needs.

• Track supply chain requirements, conduct sourcing and competitive bidding processes, and negotiate agreements.
• Collaborate with the operations teams to analyze procurement options and to assist in making equipment supply recommendations that best position their pipeline of renewable energy projects.
• Utilize systems and tools required by Procurement activities, including but not limited to systems related to purchasing and contract management, third-party vendor management, and reporting.

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
• Working knowledge of materials and inventory management, logistics, quality assurance, quality control, maintenance, and operations.
• Experience with SAP Procurement and Ariba.
• Ability to use independent judgment on procurement processes and strategy.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance.
