Daytime Custodian

Job Summary

The Custodian / Cleaner will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of all areas of the facility to ensure a positive member experience.

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment and gym floor.
• Stock locker rooms with proper supplies/paper products.
• Properly dispose of trash and maintain the trash cans.
• Clean/dust items high off the ground (i.e., ceiling fans, TVs, rafters).
• Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment (toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment etc.) to the Club Manager.
• Follow “Lost and Found Policy” and turn in lost member property to Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager immediately.

• Custodial experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Punctuality and reliability are mandatory.
• Honesty and exceptional work ethic.
• Ability to solve problems independently.
• Diplomatic in all interactions with appropriate behavior and language.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Occasionally lift over 80 pounds.
• Encounter toxic chemicals.
• Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
• Require bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, twisting, etc.
