💼 Director of Nursing (DON) – White Plains, NY
Are you an experienced RN leader ready to take charge of a high-performing nursing team? Our White Plains skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations, drive exceptional resident outcomes
, and build a top-tier nursing team
.
This is a hands‑on, executive leadership role where your expertise shapes resident care, staff development, and regulatory excellence
.
- Lead and oversee all nursing operations and resident care
- Mentor, inspire, and guide RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
- Ensure continuous “survey‑ready” status and manage DOH/CMS audits
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver individualized care
- Manage budgets, staffing, resources, and QAPI initiatives to drive results
- Active, unencumbered NY RN license
- 5+ years in Skilled Nursing / Long‑Term Care
- 2+ years in nursing leadership (DON or ADON preferred)
- Strong track record leading, mentoring, and developing high‑performing teams
- Expertise in DOH/CMS regulations, MDS processes, and reimbursement
- Exceptional salary: $200K–$250K
- Lead a collaborative, high‑performing nursing team
