Electronic Assembler position at Safe Flight, a leader in aviation safety and flight performance systems. Safe Flight was founded in 1946 and has pioneered Stall Warning and Angle of Attack, Automatic Throttle Systems, Wind Shear Warning, and other innovations in aircraft instrumentation, flight performance, and control systems for fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft. Product installations span over two-thirds of the world’s aircraft, serving the majority of aircraft manufacturers, more than 50 airlines, hundreds of corporate jet operators, and U.S. and International Armed Services.

Location:

In the office – Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

compensation:
Hourly rate: $20-22, salary commensurate with experience.

• Perform assembly tasks according to established procedures and engineering drawings. Utilize small hand tools (e.g., soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers) to assemble components accurately.
• Create wire harnesses by routing and securing wires, cables, and connectors following wiring diagrams.
• Strip wire insulation to the required length while maintaining precision and quality standards.
• Use crimping tools to secure connectors, terminals, and contacts onto wires, ensuring reliable electrical connections.
• Assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) using industry-standard techniques and assembly instructions.
• Solder components onto PCBs, wires, or other parts with quality solder joints that meet specifications.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Strong eye/hand coordination and meticulous attention to detail.
• Commitment to high-quality workmanship and adherence to quality specifications.
• Experience with surface-mount PCBs is a plus.
