Position Overview:
The Endocrinology RN provides pre-operative, recovery, and post-procedural nursing care in an acute care endocrinology setting. This role supports patients throughout Phase I and Phase II recovery and collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-operative and recovery nursing care

• Manage Phase I and Phase II recovery patients

• Insert and manage IVs

• Monitor patients post-procedure and throughout recovery

• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC

• Deliver safe, patient-centered care in accordance with facility protocols

Patient Ratios:

• Recovery: 2:1 when patient is awake

• Approximately 10–12 patients per shift

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (license required at submission)

• Minimum of 2 years of Endocrinology or relevant acute care RN experience

• BSN required

• Strong pre-op and recovery experience required

Required Certifications:

• BLS Certification

• CGRN preferred but not required

Charting System:

• EPIC
