Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
TAG Med Staffing is hiring a Pediatric LPN (Treatment Nurse) in White Plains, NY for our client. In this full-time, weekday role, you will provide hands‑on pediatric nursing care, administer treatments, and support children with acute and chronic conditions while partnering with families and care teams. This opportunity is ideal for LPNs with pediatric experience seeking a collaborative clinical setting focused on treatment, education, and care coordination.
Responsibilitiesas the Pediatric LPN (Treatment Nurse)
- Pediatric Patient Care: Provide hands‑on nursing care, administer treatments, monitor vital signs, and assist with wound care in a pediatric setting.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications safely, monitor patient responses, and follow established clinical protocols.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care teams to support comprehensive pediatric treatment plans.
- Family Education & Support: Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans, and at‑home care instructions.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with facility policies and state regulations.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Licensure: Active LPN license in the State of New York required.
- Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required, with pediatric‑specific certifications considered a plus.
- Experience: 1-2 years of LPN experience, with prior experience in pediatric care or treatment nursing strongly preferred.
