Job Duties

• Caring for patients ( Inpatient ) with the following Diagnosis
• Pressure injuries
• Diabetic ulcers
• Vascular wounds
• Surgical wounds
• Ostomies.

Review consults, divide workload with peers, patient assessments (head-to-toe)

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (doctor, SW, RNs, etc.), placing wound care orders, patient education
• Floating Requirements:
  All of inpatient- MS, PCU, ICU & OR as needed.
  
  Education
  
  Must have a BSN
  
  Experience & Skills Required
  • Must have 2 plus years experience inpatient clinical experience, Prefer wound care experience.
  • Experience with - KCI wound vacs, wound care dressings
  Certifications
  • Required
    
    Certifications:
    
    BLS, WOCN (Takes approx. 1 year to get) OR WCEI (Takes up to 1 week to get)*
