Description:

• The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in a collaborative setting.

• This full-time position is located in White Plains, NY, and requires working day shifts with alternating weekends and holidays.

• The role involves assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care, and evaluating medical and nursing regimens.

• The nurse will utilize general healthcare technologies and demonstrate leadership and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respectful and culturally competent care to all patients.

• Manage birthing care and NICU infant transport.

• Utilize the nursing process to address patient needs across various aspects of care.

• Administer blood and blood products according to policy.

• Collaborate and communicate with the healthcare team.

• Adhere to infection control standards and patient safety goals.

• Participate in performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current New York RN license/registration.

• BSN is required.

• Knowledge of current nursing, medical, and health trends.

• One year of acute care nursing experience preferred.

• BLS certification required.

• ACLS certification required for specific units.

• PALS certification required for specific units.

Qualifications:

• NRP certification required for specific units within 6-12 months for new hires.

• Oncology nurses must demonstrate cancer-specific certification or ongoing education.

• Emergency Department RNs must complete de-escalation training within 1 year.

• Successful completion of Department and Unit Orientation Program.
