In this senior nursing role, the Nurse Clinician interviews patients, families and collateral informants in order to establish a working diagnoses and referral of patients to appropriate level of care at New York-Presbyterian/Westchester Behavioral Center. Join us, and help define the future of patient-focused care.

This is a per diem rotating shift position, including shift request for evenings/weekends at New York-Presbyterian Hospital / Westchester Behavioral Health.

Preferred Criteria

• Master Degree in Nursing or related field
• Certification in area of specialization

Required Criteria

• Minimum of 4 years of acute care RN experience, with at least two years of experience in Psychiatry
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• New York State Licensed Registered Nurse
• Working knowledge of psychiatric illnesses, psychotropic medications, psychiatric assessment and evaluation in order to accurately evaluate patients
• Demonstrated competence as a practitioner
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional growth
• Successful completion of orientation

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range: $76.50/Hourly
