Description Crna opening to grow and support busy hospital-based practice in White Plains, NY; diverse case mix in a care team model with the perfect work life balance flexibility working only 2 shifts per week! White Plains Hospital is the most awarded and fastest growing hospital in Westchester County - just north of NYC. It's renowned programs and services provide a wide breadth of specialized surgical care supported by the anesthesiology department.
We have a vibrant and energetic group composed of 45 anesthesiologists and 15 CRNAs from top programs. We cover 41 anesthetizing locations daily working together in a care team model. Our care team model means that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence.
Total rewards hourly rate: $146.63/hr - $151.44/hr, plus shift differentials provided for evening, night, and weekend hours. Sign on incentive: up to $100k. Case assignments & schedule: schedule: 1-24 hour and 1–16 hour shift per week. Mix of inpatient and outpatient cases. State of the art, brand new operating rooms. Great variety of cases including general, OB, regional, vascular, cardiac, pediatrics, neuro and ortho. No transplant cases and no trauma. Cardiac and young pediatrics cases covered by the cardiac and peds team. Plenty of opportunity to expand your regional anesthesia skills.
Key responsibilities:
provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures. Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent. Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients. Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed. Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.
Requirements: current license as a registered professional nurse. Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education. Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
