- Assist with prescription refills according to established protocols.
- Utilize standing orders in accordance with organizational policies.
- Communicate with pharmacies, laboratories, and other healthcare partners.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, wellness, and health promotion.
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient records.
- Support onboarding and clinical training by serving as a preceptor when needed.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and education programs.
Essential Job Qualifications
- Minimum Education Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required - Minimum Work-Related
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in acute care setting - Minimum Requirement for Licensure/ Certification/Registration:
Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License required - Current CPR/BLS Certification required
