OverviewAccountable for 24-hour management of the rehab program.
Responsibilities- Responsible for organizational planning, and the clinical rehab nursing practice which includes assessing, planning, implementing and supervising patient care and professional growth.
- Supervises 40-50 employees on day, evening and night shifts.
- Collaborates with other professional disciplines in developing and implementing clinical rehabilitation programs.
- Progressive experience in clinical rehabilitation nursing and nursing management.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required, Master's preferred.
- Certification in rehabilitation nursing (or obtained as soon as eligible).
- NYS license required.
- Strong clinical, leadership, and management skills; good interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships; a high level of initiative and creative problem-solving ability.
- House Supervisor on weekends (once every eight weeks) and occasional holidays.
