About This Role
The Ambulatory Care Nurse will support the coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies and procedures, providing comprehensive care to patients in a pediatric urology setting.

Full-Time, Day shift
- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
- Collect patient health history.
- Record information in electronic health record.
- Provide information, counsel, and education to patients and families regarding test results and treatment plans.
- Administer medications, provide comprehensive wound care, and perform phone and in-person patient triage for clinical concerns.
- Assess and monitor patient responses to various treatments, procedures, and anesthesia.
- Consult with clinical supervisors and licensed providers to determine best treatment plans for patients.
- Direct, supervise, and delegate to licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, and technicians as needed.
- Support the coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and performance evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies and procedures.
- Participate in clinical inquiry and activities to foster evidence‑based practice.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution required;
Associate Degree in Nursing may be approved contingent upon approval from Nursing Leadership.
- Minimum of two years nursing experience in applicable area.
- Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York
- Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification preferred
