What You Will Do
  • Assist veterinarians with patient exams, treatments, and procedures
  • Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals during surgical and dental procedures
  • Provide compassionate nursing care for hospitalized and recovering patients
  • Perform IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and wound management
  • Administer medications, vaccines, diagnostics, and treatments
  • Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment including radiography
  • Communicate clearly with clients about treatment plans and updates
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Work collaboratively with doctors, technicians, and support staff
Who We Are Looking For
  • Licensed Veterinary Technician or Registered Veterinary Technician with an active New York license
  • Graduate of an accredited Veterinary Technology program
  • Strong foundational clinical and technical skills
  • Comfortable handling patients of various sizes and temperaments
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive, team-focused mindset with a desire to keep learning

Newly licensed veterinary technicians are welcome and will receive mentorship and support.

Schedule and Work Life Balance
  • Full-time position
  • Four day work week available
  • Occasional half day Saturday
  • Ability to leave work at a reasonable hour
  • Team support that allows for uninterrupted lunch breaks
Compensation + Benefits
  • Salary: $26.00-$31.00 an hour, commensurate with experience
