** Essential Functions
*** 1. Understands and adheres to the WPH Performance Standards, Policies and Behaviors.
* 2. Monitors pending lists and assists with Add on testing.
* 3. Manages specimens to be given to technical staff for pending tests.
* 4. Processes send out testing to be placed on a packing list to a referral laboratory
* 5. Monitors inventory as required for par levels and storage
* 6. Answers phones and places phone calls are requested.
* 7. Removes and discards specimens that are no longer needed.
* 8. Investigate location and status of specimens in the LIS
* 9. Place specimens in centrifuge and on automated track systems.
* 10. Records temperature, humidity, and other maintenance logs as needed.
* 11. Performs all other related duties as assigned.
** Qualifications
* ** High School Required or
* GED Required
* Previous laboratory experience or healthcare environment experience preferred
