Location: City of White Plains
Position Overview
The Assistant Store Leader of Operations supports the Store Leader in achieving store goals across guest service, sales, operations, loss prevention, and visual merchandising. The role focuses on enhancing guest experience, driving sales, improving operational efficiency, and developing associate talent.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a guest-focused team, model service standards, provide timely feedback, and recognize associate performance to boost retention.
- Hold associates accountable for financial results and performance standards, including sales objectives, operating expenses, and loss prevention.
- Co‑manage scheduling, back‑of‑house organization, shipment preparation, markdowns, inventory, and cash‑handling processes.
- Plan and execute store operations, mandatory opening/closing procedures, lifting up to 30 lbs, and self‑management of workflow.
- Coordinate visual and merchandising initiatives with Visual District/Assistant Store Leader, ensuring brand aesthetic and floor set/refresh compliance.
- Use weekly reporting to track, analyze, and communicate business results and develop strategies to maximize sales.
- Maintain loss‑prevention practices, report incidents, and protect company assets.
- Communicate effectively with executive team, District Leader, and Visual District Leader regarding store performance and operational needs.
- Minimum of 1 year retail management experience.
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree.
- Physical capability to perform tasks requiring sustained standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, and occasional ladder and stair use; must lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
