What You'll Do

As a Retail Security Officer, you will play an important role in helping maintain a safe and welcoming shopping environment for customers and staff by:

* Maintaining a visible security presence throughout your assigned area

* Monitoring customer and employee activity to help prevent theft and policy violations

* Observing and reporting suspicious behavior or security concerns

* Providing exceptional customer service and assisting visitors when needed

* Responding appropriately to incidents and emergencies

* Completing accurate activity and incident reports

* Supporting store management by enforcing site policies and procedures

* Helping create a safe and positive environment for customers and employees

Qualifications

* Valid NYS Security Guard License preferred

* Previous security, retail, customer service, or related experience preferred

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Professional appearance and demeanor

* Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the shift

* Ability to stand for extended periods

* Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

* Strong observation and reporting skills
