Join Our Team This Summer!  We are seeking dependable and professional Seasonal Campus Security Officers to support security operations at a private educational campus in Thornwood, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain security experience in a professional campus environment while helping maintain a safe and welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors.
This seasonal assignment is expected to begin within the next two weeks and continue through mid-August 2026. Multiple openings are available across afternoon, evening, overnight, weekday, and weekend shifts.
Available Shifts  Potential schedules may include:
Afternoon

Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Overnight

Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Weekday and weekend coverage available
Full-time and part-time opportunities

Schedules are subject to operational needs and may be adjusted as staffing requirements evolve.
Responsibilities   Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols throughout the campus
Monitor campus buildings, grounds, and common areas
Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations
Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, visitors, and vendors
Assist with access control and visitor management procedures
Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with site protocols
Complete accurate and detailed incident and activity reports
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Qualifications   Valid New York State Security Guard License (preferred)
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods during patrols
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
Must have reliable personal transportation and access to a vehicle, as the work location is not easily accessible by public transportation
