Location: City of White Plains
Overview
Seeking a local painter with a minimum of 5 years experience, own tools, transportation, and a fully licensed, insured, Workers' Compensation holding (or exemption) business for a 1099 subcontractor relationship. The position will be in Westchester County and other listed counties, with materials provided.
Requirements- Own tools and hardware (rollers, brushes, ladders, drop cloths, etc.)
- Own transportation for work sites
- Minimum of 5 years painting experience
- Fully licensed contractor, insured, and Workers' Compensation compliant
- Willing to undergo a basic background check
- Bonus: ability to manage a crew of 2-3+ painters
- Westchester County
- Putnam County

- Ceiling, trim, door, popcorn ceiling removal, cabinet painting/finishing, stairwell, wallpaper application and removal
- Power washing and painting decks, fences, garage doors, exterior wall painting of common building materials
- Metal roofs, wrought iron, dry floor, spray booth, Pro Coat
- Westchester County Contractor License
- OSHA training
- EPA Lead certification
Project-based pay with an average of approximately $35 per hour.
