Responsibilities
- Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems and equipment in commercial environments
- Performing regular preventative maintenance tasks
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues in HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Installing new HVAC and refrigeration systems in compliance with local codes
- Communicating effectively with clients regarding service issues
- Following all safety procedures and regulations
- Valid driver’s license
- Must pass pre-employment DMV check, drug screening and background check
- Refrigeration license as defined by State(s) regulations
- EPA Certification required
- OSHA 10‑Hour certification required within 30 days of employment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education in RHVAC is a plus
- Completion of an apprenticeship or formal RHVAC training program
- Proficiency in the use of tools and equipment necessary for RHVAC installation and repair
