We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in White Plains, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing residential and commercial HVAC systems while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, boilers, and ventilation systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and seasonal tune-ups on HVAC systems.
- Install and replace HVAC components as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Test systems for proper performance and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Communicate service recommendations and repair options to customers.
- Adhere to company safety policies and industry regulations.
- Respond to emergency service calls as required.
- 6+ years of HVAC service and repair experience preferred.
- EPA Certification required.
- HVAC trade school certification preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience working with residential and/or commercial HVAC systems.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White Plains, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
