Pest Technician - Licensed Techs

Role Overview

Our Pest Control Technicians perform industry‑leading pest management services for residential customers across the White Plains, NY area, operating primarily from a Franklin Lakes, NJ branch. After a few days of in‑office training, the role is largely remote in the field with occasional branch visits.

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, while adhering to safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest‑free environment.
• Provide advice on how to reduce the risk of future infestations.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, assist with sales to current customers, and expand service offerings to new customers.
• Ensure that all pest control equipment is properly maintained, stocked, and in good working condition.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols.
• Drive and safely operate a company‑provided service vehicle (routine maintenance supplied).

• Work in tight, confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways.
• Work around animals, insects, termites, mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights and scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals—approved training provided.
• Operate in varying weather conditions using company‑provided weather gear.
• Move frequently—sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
• Wear personal protective equipment such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator.

• Clean‑shaven face (required for rebreather use).
• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us).
• Available to work Monday‑Friday and weekends as needed.
• Openness to learning and becoming knowledgeable in all areas of pest control.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills for product label instructions.
• Customer‑facing experience preferred.

Base hour for full‑time employees: $18.00 – $20.00. Pay can vary based on location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment.
