The HVAC Mechanic performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems at a Government military facility. Work is completed in accordance with manufacturer standards and Federal Government guidelines, with a strong focus on safety and professionalism.

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment (RTUs, AHUs, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, VAVs, heat pumps, split systems)
• Troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration systems, including controls and wiring diagrams
• Respond to service calls and emergency after-hours requests as needed
• Maintain service documentation, tools, and supply inventory
• Support building systems including EMS, fire alarm, sprinkler, and emergency generator systems
• Safely lift and move materials up to 75 lbs
• Follow all safety, security, and site requirements

• 5+ years HVAC experience
• NATE Certification (required)
• Universal CFC Certification (required)
• DC Stationary License (1st or 3rd) (required)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work Monday–Friday with occasional overtime and on-call emergencies
• Preferred: HVAC License, HVAC Excellence or UA Star Certification
